How to prepare for the exam?

1- The candidates are recommended that they use textbooks and lecture notes as primary sources for study. Previous year questions are best used to familiarize candidates with item formats. 2- Approach the proactive methodology. When it comes to NBDE exam do not take it for granted. You might have studied a day before in many exams and performed well, but this is not the case with NBDE. Start preparing as soon as the forms are out.

3- There is no set time limit someone can tell you so as to gain success. Everyone has a different methodology of studying. Moreover, every day is not the same day. There might be some urgent work calling you in the middle of nowhere. You might just not feel like studying or you might fall sick. Always be prepared for the unexpected things too. Manage your time in a manner so as you have enough spare time to relax and even revise.

4- Balance your dental classes and NBDE Part I preparation. Dental school might be keeping you occupied well. You might be having your classes you can’t skip or the tests you have to qualify at dental school. But do not forget that you have another important test lined up. Draft out a strategy. Take all the activities into account. List out the possible activities that might pop out. And plan out a strategy how to manage out them all.

5- Plan well how your average day may look like
Wake up and hit the gym. Exercise is good for health and brain. The more you pump yourself the more likely your brain will work faster. Shower well, have a healthy breakfast and go to school. Attend your morning classes which are likely to get over in the afternoon. Have proper lunch. Attend your post-lunch classes and pre-clinical activities. Later decompress for a moment after school. Lay down, use Instagram, read Buzzfeed and pamper yourself a little. Study for the dental class. Relax have dinner early and sit and study for NBDE exam.
